Child Counseling

Assessment 

We provide speech and language evaluations to children and teens, ages 18 months+. A licensed speech-language pathologist will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine ​the type of therapy and frequency of therapy that would be most beneficial. We are qualified to assess and diagnose the following areas:

  • Speech-Sound Disorders

  • Early Intervention for Speech-Language Delays (birth-3)

  • Gestalt Language Processing, Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Trials

  • Feeding Disorders 

  • Stuttering

  • Literacy-based Language Disorders 

Individualized Treatment Sessions

We take a family-centered approach to speech therapy, where therapy goals are developed based on results of the comprehensive evaluation, and input from the parents/caregivers. Our sessions are always child-led and tailored to your child's unique interests.

 

Our services can be provided in-home, at preschool, daycare, private school, or at a mutually convenient location. Our treatment sessions are typically recommended at 45 minutes or 60 minutes per session, depending on your child's specific needs.

Parent + Caregiver Coaching

Involving parents and family members in therapy is a vital component to a child’s success in enhancing their communication. We offer in-person or virtual coaching sessions for parents who want to take enhancing their child's communication in their own hands. Our therapists will provide strategies to caregivers that will enhance their child's communication development even when a therapist is not around.

Educational Services

We have extensive experience and knowledge of school-based speech and special education services. We can help you navigate the process of receiving support in schools.
